Prof. Amany EL-Shariff

She is also the founder and Regional Director of the Association of African Universities, North African Office (AAU NARO). She is education expert and advisor for many institutions, NAQAAE President’s Advisor for International Relations, consultant and evaluator for the American Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). Prof. El-Sharif is Egypt Ambassador in HAQAA project. She is selected to be a board member in African Education Trust Fund (AETF), Center of American African Research (CAARS). She is the former dean of faculty of Pharmacy, Al-Azhar University (2018-2023).

As a professor of microbiology and immunology and he passion in Africa health, she was selected as a WHO Advisor, Bacterial Priority Pathogen List Advisory Group, board member of the Africa Patient Congress Advisory Committee, International Alliance of Patients’ Organizations IAPO and Board member, African Medicines Agency Treaty Alliance (AMATA) Steering Committee. She is the founder of peer reviewed scientific journal AIJpms. She has extensive International experiences with different Organizations: AU, DAAD, AAU, EU, ACPE, Scientific Research and Technology Academy, American Chamber of Commerce, World Bank, British Council, WHO, UNESCO, Association of All African Students (AAAS), CAARs, IAPO, AMATA.

Prof. Amany is a woman activist who believe in the power of women to create the change in Africa and has participated, supported and led many initiatives in this regard.
She received different awards as Pan African She Achiever in Education for 2022,
Selected as WOMAN OF THE YEAR 2022, for Excellence in Leadership, Humbleness in Service and Optimal Dedication across different sectors of the African economy, CAARS.
And Meritorious Award and fellowship of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals.
