Enrico De Barbieri signifies his lineage as a politician and entrepreneur, spanning multiple generations, constantly seeking to cultivate sincere human resources and innovative concepts. Presently occupied with several prestigious roles, he holds the following positions: Ambassador to the World for the City of Genoa, Italy; Secretary General of the “Croce Reale-Rinnovamento nella Tradizione” and Representation of the International Cultural Movement; Chairman of the Academic Senate of the “Accademia di San Pietro”; and Honorary President of the MABOTA Association and the Genoa-Africa Association.
He is also member of the Associazione Italiana Esperti d’Africa (AIEA), Advisor for the La Spezia Chamber of Commerce in South Africa and SADC countries, Vice President of the Interdisciplinary Professionals Association [A.L.P.ID.], professional member of the Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana (FERPI), and mediator in corporate disputes with a particular focus on emerging markets and sub-Saharan countries.
Enrico has a keen interest in Africa. He is the honorary consul of the Republic of South Africa in Genoa and a co-founder and President of the South Africa Monaco Association and the Italy-South Africa Association.
