Suzan Ntebo Mthembu is a dynamic business leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience dedicated to transforming the township economy. Her ventures have created opportunities for job creation and community involvement, notably through projects like the Eyethu Orange Farm Mall, where the community holds a 10% stake. A passionate advocate for the informal economy, women’s empowerment, and youth development, Suzan is also a motivational speaker, mentor, and business consultant. Her company, Suzan Ntebo and Associates, focuses on business development, compliance, accounting, and strategic planning to foster sustainable enterprises and employment in the informal sector.
Suzan is the founder of several initiatives aimed at empowering women and advancing the informal economy. She established the Sisters in Business Network Conference to support women-led businesses with marketing and leadership development, as well as the Suzan Ntebo Foundation, which addresses social challenges in collaboration with NPOs. As the National Chairperson for the Informal Economy Development Forum (IEDF) and founder of the Progressive Women Network, she actively builds networks and solutions for women-led businesses. With qualifications in Project Management, Social Entrepreneurship, and Sales & Marketing, Suzan is also an ordained pastor and prophetess, guided by her faith as she champions economic inclusion and social upliftment.
